The Stephens Group, LLC, is a private investing firm that invests in both private and public companies to provide resources and advice to entrepreneurs. It was founded after W.R. "Witt" Stephens opened Stephens Inc, an investment bank, in 1933. The Stephens Group, LLC, was founded when his children sold their shares in Stephens Inc to open a firm with a focus on principal investing in 2006.
