WisPolitics MILWAUKEE-A Independent third party voting watchdog group is going to watch the polls and make sure voter ID can be enforced despite it is not the law in the Badger State[1].
Despite Its Not the Law, Group Demands Voter ID for All on Election Day
Election Protection Wisconsin, part of the national Election Protection program, will have specially trained volunteer poll watchers in []Sunshinereview:Milwaukee, Wisconson|Milwaukee]] and Madison as well as other larger communities throughout the state to watch the polls.
Election Protection Wisconsin recruited and trained volunteers to serve as nonpartisan poll monitors on Election Day to address voting problems such as long lines, misuse of provisional ballots, and demands for voter IDs which are not mandated by state law in Wisconsin. The volunteers are trained to be observers following federal, state and local election laws[1].
On Election Day, these poll observers will be deployed to polling places where they will be available to legally observe the voting process and help resolve any problems seen at the polls. In addition, attorneys will be available to help address problems and concerns as they arise[1].
