Third Party Watch (TPW) is a website that serves as a central news resource for information about minor party politics. It was created by Austin Cassidy in June, 2005. Its goal--at which it is often successful--is to be a comprehensive news resource for anything to do with minor party politics, especially paying attention to the country's two most significant minor parties, the Libertarian Party and the Green Party, including their efforts to gain and keep ballot access for their federal and state candidates.

Unlike many other online news sources, TPW has earned enough of a following to generate significant advertising revenues. On May 19, the website was purchased by Richard Viguerie, and long-time national director of the Libertarian Party, Shane Cory, was hired to work on the site.
