2012
Donovan won election in the 2012 election for New Hampshire House of Representatives, Sullivan 4. Donovan was unopposed in the September 11 primary and defeated incumbent Charlene Lovett (R) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[3][4]
2010
Donovan did not seek re-election to Sullivan 4 in 2010.
2008
On November 4, 2008, Donovan finished first for the five-seat Sullivan 4 District in New Hampshire receiving 3,591 votes, ahead of Democrats John Cloutier(3,257), Raymond Gagnon(3,196), Sandra Harris(3,185), Larry Converse(2,602), and Republicans Philip Osgood(3,380), Victor Bergeron(2,889), Chris Vinci(2,518), Ken Hall(2,427) and Ernest Bridge Jr.(1,735), and Others(11).[5]
