Thomas A. "Tommy" Gollott (b. September 29, 1935) is a Republican member of the Mississippi State Senate, representing District 50. Gollott was first elected to the chamber in 1979 as a Democrat. In the 2007 Mississippi state senate elections, Gollott switched his party affiliation to the Republican Party.[1]

Gollott served in the Mississippi House of Representatives from 1968 to 1980.


Gollott attended the University of Southern Mississippi and Jefferson Davis Junior College. His professional experience includes working as the owner of Transfer and Storage Company.

Gollott won re-election to the Mississippi Senate District 50. He ran unopposed in the primary on August 2, 2011. No candidates ran in the Democratic primary. Gollott defeated Travis Burke (Independent) in the general election on November 8, 2011.[3]
