Longstaff won re-election in the 2012 election for Maine House of Representatives District 77. Longstaff ran unopposed in the June 12 Democratic primary and defeated Richard Perry (R) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2]
2010
Longstaff's opponent in the November 2 general election was Republican candidate Alek Fortier. According to unofficial results, Longstaff defeated Fortier in the November 2 general election.[3]
Longstaff filed to replace incumbent candidate Pamela Trinward after she withdrew her candidacy on July 1, 2010.
