Thomas "Tom" Nelson was a 2012 Republican candidate for Chittenden 2 of the Vermont House of Representatives.

Nelson told the Williston Observer, "We need to encourage businesses to add more jobs, either through incentives or an evaluation of how high taxes are that a business will face trying to expand or locate here to begin with."[1]

Nelson ran for election in the 2012 election for Vermont House of Representatives Chittenden 2. Nelson was unopposed in the August 28 Republican primary and was defeated in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
