Sands is a Commercial Loan Officer and Appraiser with Columbus Junction State Bank. He has previously been a Life Insurance Agent with Life Investors Company from 1994-1998, Appraiser with Vanguard Appraisals from 1996-1997, Sales Manager of the Sajak Farm Implement Company from 1990-1993, and Owner/Operator of Grain and Livestock Farm from 1972-1992.
Sands is a Township Trustee in Concord Township, Finance Director of the Louisa County Farm Bureau, Charter Member/First Commander of the Sons of the American Legion, and a member of the United Methodist Church.[1]
