2012
Saunders won re-election in the 2012 election for Indiana House of Representatives District 54. Saunders ran unopposed in the May 8 Republican primary and defeated Jeremiah Morrell (L) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
2010
Saunders defeated Democratic candidate Bruce Gaylor and Libertarian candidate Rex Bell with 10,492 votes. Gaylor received 4,166 votes and Bell received 3,846 votes. [4] The general election took place on November 2, 2010.
In the May 4th primary, Saunders ran unopposed and received 7,364 votes. [5]
