Attorney General Jim Hood announced that two Benton County residents and one Union County resident face up to five years in prison after pleading guilty to voter fraud.[1]
Suspects
Lillie Jean Norton, 59, of Ashland; Larry "Tip" Massey, 42, of New Albany and Henry Massey, 42, of Hickory Flat, entered their guilty pleas October 6 before Benton County Circuit Judge Henry Lackey. All three pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit vote fraud. The pleas come after arrests of 16 suspects on varying charges in a 2007 voter fraud investigation by the Attorney General's office. A sentencing date has not been set. All three remain free on bond.[1]
