Krieger earned his BS in Mathematics from Liberty University in 1984. He went on to receive his JD from the University of Pittsburgh Law School in 1992.
Krieger served in the United States Navy as an Officer from 1985 to 1989. He then served in the United States Naval Reserved in 1989. He currently works as an attorney for Strassburger, McKenna, Gutnick, and Potter.

Krieger ran in the 2012 election for Pennsylvania House District 57. Krieger ran unchallenged in the Republican primary on April 24 and defeated Andrew Gales (D) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2]
2010
Krieger won re-election to the 57th District Seat in 2010. He was unopposed in the May 18 Republican primary and defeated Democrat Michael Kester and independent Ronald Gazze in the general election on November 2, 2010.[3]
