Shaughnessy resigned his seat early, citing a number of reasons including the fact that there were no plans for a special session and no important issues in his committees.[1]
Shaughnessy attended Jefferson Community College. He went on to earn his BS from the University of Louisville. He then received his MBA from Bellarmine College.
Shaughnessy is Vice President for Jewish Hospital Health Care Services.
