Tucker ran in the 2012 election for Idaho House of Representatives District 1B. He ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on May 15. He was a placeholder in case incumbent George Eskridge (R) did not win the Republican primary. He dropped out after Eskridge prevailed.[1][2]
