Timothy Turner was a 2012 Republican candidate for District 94 of the Maine House of Representatives.[1]


Turner served in the United States Navy from 2002 through 2006. While enlisted, he served as an engineering laboratory technician. He survived a grounding incident while stationed aboard the USS San Francisco in 2005. He earned several awards while serving including the Navy Achievement Medal, the Navy Expeditionary Medal and a Good Conduct Medal.[2]

Following his service in the Navy, Turner graduated, magna cum laude, from DeVry University in 2009 with a B.S. in game and simulation programming. He earned the Dean's Award for Game and Simulation Programming and the Humanities Vision Award.[2]

Turner currently works as a software engineer.[2]

Turner ran in the 2012 election for Maine House of Representatives District 94. Turner ran unopposed in the June 12 Republican primary and was defeated by incumbent Teresea Hayes (D) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[3]
