Timothy Wolfe is a 2012 Republican candidate seeking election to the U.S. House representing the 9th Congressional District of Illinois. Wolfe ran unopposed in the Republican primary on March 20, 2012.[1]

Biography

Wolfe was born in Bloomington, Illinois in 1953. [2] Wolfe went to college at Illinois Wesleyan University receiving a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration in 1975.[2] Wolfe received a second bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University in 1978 in Accounting. In 2003 Wolfe received a Masters Degree in Taxation from Northern Illinois University. [2]

Wolfe is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP)[2]

Wolfe is running in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing Illinois' 9th District. Wolfe is seeking the nomination on the Republican ticket. [4] The signature filing deadline was December 27, 2011, with the primary taking place on March 20, 2012. Incumbent Janice D. Schakowsky is seeking re-election on the Democratic ticket.

Wolfe ran unopposed in the Republican primary on March 20, 2012. He will face incumbent Jan Schakowsky in the general election on November 6, 2012. Jan Schakowsky defeated challenger Simon Ribeiro in the Democratic primary.[1]

Personal

Wolfe is married and lives in Arlington Heights, Illinois with his wife and one of his two daughters, who is attending college. [2] His other daughter has graduated from college. Wolfe and his family have lived in Arlington Heights for approximately 30 years. [2]
