Thomas Loertscher (b. January 4, 1944) is a Republican member of the Idaho House of Representatives, representing District 32B since 2012. He previously represented District 31B from 2004 to 2012. He previously served in the Idaho House from 1996 to 2002.

Loretscher earned his Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Utah.

In addition to being a legislator, Loretscher is a rancher.

Loertscher won re-election in the 2012 election for Idaho House of Representatives. Due to redistricting, he ran in District 32B. He defeated Kelton L. Larsen and Franklyn G. Vilt Sr. in the Republican primary and defeated Ralph Mossman (D)[1] in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2][3][4]

Loertscher won re-election to District Seat 31B in 2010 against Democrat Ralph Mossman. He ran unopposed in the Republican primary on May 25th. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.[5]
