Louisos ran unsuccessfully as a Democratic candidate for the same seat in 2012.

Louisos earned his B.A. from the University of Chicago and his M.B.A. from West Virginia University.

Elections for the office of West Virginia House of Delegates took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 13, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was January 25, 2014. District 32 is represented by three delegates. Incumbents David Perry, John Pino and Margaret Staggers were unopposed in the Democratic primary. Tom Fast, William Hughes and Kayla Kessinger were unopposed in the Republican primary. Perry, Fast, and Kessinger defeated Pino, Staggers, Hughes, Tom Louisos (I) and Tighe Bullock (Mountain) in the general election.[1]

Louisos ran in the 2012 election for West Virginia House of Delegates, District 32. Louisos, William Stover, Jan M. Lafferty, and Jonathan Walkup were defeated by incumbents Dave Perry, John Pino, and Margaret Anne Staggers in the May 8 primary election.[2][3]
