Nerini's campaign website listed the following issues:[1]
- Education
- Excerpt: "I have been a front line educator for nearly 30 years. Currently I am a counselor in the Phoenix Union High School District. I see daily, the struggles that our teachers, administrators, students and families go through. I know the faces and the stories of those affected by laws and policies passed by our lawmakers."
- Economy
- Excerpt: "If Arizona is to have an economy that is robust and sustainable; one that is not at the mercy of economic and political whims, one that provides well-paying and meaningful jobs we must first ensure a well-educated work force. By first understanding the sort of economy we want and then working to provide our citizens the sort of education and training needed to fill those jobs we can have the strongest, most robust and sustainable economy in the country. "
- Health care
- Excerpt: "Without good health everything else is made much more difficult. Currently the governor is considering not accepting federal funding for the expansion of Medicaid through the Affordable Health Care program. This expansion would allow coverage for more than 325,000 low-income residence of Arizona. By not accepting this money, which Arizonans have paid to the federal government, the Governor is putting at risk some of our most vulnerable citizens."
Elections
