Tom Niehaus (b. January 7, 1951) has been a Republican member of the Ohio Senate since 2005, representing the 14th district.
Education
Niehaus earned his BA in Journalism from Ohio State University in 1973. He went on to receive his MBA from Xavier University in 1986.
Professional experience
Niehaus worked as a publisher for The Community Press Newspapers from 1989 to 1997. He then worked as a Commercial Agent for The Crowell Company from 1997 to the present.
Political experience
Niehaus served in the Ohio State House of Representatives from 2000 to 2004. He joined the Ohio State Senate in 2005 and has served in that position since. He represents the 14th district.
