Tom Saxhaug

Tom Saxhaug is a Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party member of the Minnesota Senate since 2002. Saxhaug serves as the current Majority Whip of the Minnesota Senate. Before becoming a Senator, Saxhaug was a member of the Itasca County Board of Commissioners from 1996 to 2002 and a Grand Rapids City Councilman from 1994 to 1996.
Saxhaug graduated from Saint Olaf College with his Bachelor's degree and is an Insurance Agent when the Senate is not in session.
