Text of measure
Language on the ballot:
||Pursuant to the Arizona State Constitution, this proposition will establish an alternative expenditure limitation for the City of Tombstone for the next four fiscal years beginning in 2013-2014. Every year as a part of the annual budget process, and after at least one public hearing, the City Council will determine the alternative expenditure limitation for the next fiscal year. This alternative expenditure limitation replaces the state-imposed expenditure limitation.
A “YES” vote shall have effect of establishing an alternative expenditure limitation for the City of Tombstone.
A “NO” vote shall have effect of not allowing the City of Tombstone to establish an alternative expenditure limitation and to require expenditures of the City to be limited by the state-imposed expenditure formula.
