Tony Mendoza is a Democratic member of the California State Assembly, representing the 56th District since 2006. He is also a member of the Artesia City Council.
Mendoza worked as a Fourth-Grade Teacher at Brooklyn Avenue Elementary School. He is a Board Member of the Los Angeles County Federation of Labor, representative of the California Teachers Association, representative of the National Education Association, and member of the Board of Directors, United Teachers Los Angeles.[1]
Issue positions
