Four Town & Village Electrical Aggregation Questions were on the March 20, 2012 ballot in the designated towns villages which are in McLean County.

Two of the measures were approved[1]

These measures sought to allow municipal officials to buy electricity in bulk and allow for lower rates for residents who want to participate in the program. The municipalities which have this on their ballot include the town of Normal and the villages of Danvers, McLean and Stanford.[2]

Text of measure

The question on the ballot:

Shall the Town of Normal have the authority to arrange for the supply of electricity for its residential and small commercial retail customers who have not opted out of such a program?
