Trudy Fisher was the Mississippi Executive Director of Environmental Quality. Fisher was appointed by Gov. Haley Barbour in 2007 and served until stepping down in 2014.[1][2]

Biography

Fisher previously served as General Counsel at the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ). She then had a private practice focusing on environmental law. She became the first woman to serve as Director of the MDEQ when she was appointed to the position in 2007.[1]
