Two Twentynine Palms Water District ballot questions
, Measures H and I
, were on the April 17, 2012 ballot
for voters in the Twentynine Palms Water District in San Bernardino County
- Measure H was for a parcel tax of $120 per parcel. It could have been adjusted upwards annually for inflation. It would have lasted for 10 years. It would have represented an increase over the current parcel tax of $80. Measure H was defeated.
- Measure I would have established an annual appropriations limit based on the amount of revenues received in each fiscal year from the Measure H parcel tax, if it had been approved. Measure I was approved, but the defeat of Measure H makes the approval of Measure I essentially moot.
