U.S. Attorney's office will have representatives in South Dakota on Election Day to prevent voter fraud. South Dakota U.S. Attorney Marty Jackley has assured voters that the Attorney's office will have a presence throughout the state to ensure that votes are cast and counted in accordance with the law. Protecting Voters
The Attorney's office will be watching to prevent intimidation and discrimination at the polls. Jackley says there have been few problems in South Dakota, although last year one individual was caught and convicted for trying to vote twice. [1]
