Biography
My name is Anthony McConnell. I am an investigative reporter for the Wyoming Liberty Group's news Website WyomingReporter.org. I have degrees in photography, print journalism and speech communications, and ran my own portrait studio before joining the newspaper world. Before joining WLG, I covered city government for the Cody Enterprise.
In my opinion there are few things more important than the media. Unfortunately the legacy media has lost touch with their job – it’s probably why they are failing at an amazing rate and why nonprofits, like the WLG are taking up the slack and starting their own news gathering branches.
I take my job seriously, after all there is one profession protected in the U.S. Constitution and that is the profession I happen to have chosen.
The First Amendment states:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
