About Me
I moved to Arizona in August, 2007, from Texas, a state that does not have initiatives and referendums. Ballotpedia was my means of learning about the issues about and surrounding ballot initiative.
Ballotpedia Participation
At this point in time, I am solely focused on the Arizona pages.
Ethical Conflicts of interest
Ballotpedia does not have a conflict of interest disclosure policy, but should.
- As of October 4, 2008, I have not made a financial donation to any of the ballot initiatives nor am I aware of any financial interest in any of the initiatives that would create a conflict of interest in my participation.
- I am a current state of Arizona employee, including a former employee of AHCCCS, which is involved in litigation surrounding Arizona_Proposition_101_(2008)
- I signed three petitions, one was Conserving Arizona's Water and Land, but I don't remember what the other two were. It was hot that day.
- I will not be voting for the Arizona_Marriage_Protection_Amendment_(2008).
- While some of the other initiatives look sketchy, I have not made a formal decision yet about how I plan to vote. Whether it's yes or no, it's relatively lukewarm.
