Hello! Welcome to Ballotpedia. My name is Geoff Pallay, and I am Special Projects Director for Ballotpedia. The main projects I work on are State Legislatures, Redistricting and Congress.
I joined Ballotpedia in June 2010 after working as a policy analyst at a think tank in South Carolina, the South Carolina Policy Council.
Information is key to having a responsible, engaged voting public. And here at Ballotpedia we aim to bring readers as much information as possible -- with the key point being that it is reliable, non-partisan, detailed, and easily accessible.
Originally from New Jersey, I've spent the past 8 years enjoying the warmth of the south -- studying Journalism and History at Emory University in Atlanta before earning a Masters in Public Administration at the College of Charleston.
In 2010, I moved to Boston, Massachusetts with my wife Megan, who is a resident at Tufts University Medical Center.
