2012
Kindle ran in the 2012 election for Michigan House of Representatives District 1. She ran against Christopher Cavanagh, Brian Banks, Scott Benson and Gregory Robinson in the Democratic primary on August 7. Kindle was defeated by Brian Banks in the Democratic primary.[2] Incumbent Timothy Bledsoe (D) is running in the District 2. The general election took place on November 6, 2012. [3]

Kindle has made affordable education, healthcare, and insurance a focus of her campaign. Additionally, she seeks to return more state revenue to cities. She opposes Right to Work legislation.
