Special election
Wicker ran in the special election for District 52 of the Mississippi House of Representatives. The seat was vacant following Tommy L. Woods's (R) resignation on July 30, 2012. Wicker lost to Jeremy Bryan and Bill Kinkade in the non-partisan race on November 6, 2012.[1][2]
