Montgomery is the co-founder of the Day Care Forum of New York City. She is currently a Teacher and Day Care Director as well as an Adjunct Professor.
Montgomery attended the University of Accra in Ghana. She then earned her BA from New York University. She went on to receive her MS in Education from New York University in 1975.
