The Vermont Retirement Age for Judges Amendment was on the November 5, 2002 ballot in Vermont as a legislatively-referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved.

  • 63,131 (35.8%)

The question on the ballot was, "Permits the General Assembly to prescribe by law the mandatory retirement age for justices of the Supreme Court and judges of all subordinate courts, not to be less than seventy years of age."
