The Vermont Secretary of State election took place on November 4, 2014. Incumbent Jim Condos (D) was first elected in 2010 and was seeking re-election in 2014. He won another four-year term by defeating Vermont Progressive Party candidate Ben Eastwood and Liberty Union Party candidate Mary Alice Hebert in the general election.

Vermont is one of 14 states that uses an open primary system, in which registered voters do not have to be members of a party to vote in that party's primary.[1][2][3]
