Stogdill was an Independent candidate for District 64 of the Iowa House of Representatives in the November 2, 2010 state legislative elections. Stogdill announced her run for House district 64 seat in August. [4] Stogdill was defeated by Janet Petersen (D) in the November 2 general election.[5]
