Vicki Walker

Vicki Walker has been a Democratic member of the Oregon Senate since 2002, representing the 7th district.
On July 9, 2009, she announced that she was resigning her seat in the state senate on July 12, 2009 to accept a position on the Oregon Parole Board.[1]
Policy positions
- In June 2009, Walker broke ranks with her fellow Democratic members of the state senate and voted against Oregon House Bill 2005 (2009), which imposes new regulations on the petition process in Oregon.[2] Sen. Walker was honored with The John Lilburne Award for the month of July.
