A Village of Tequesta Annexation, ballot question was on the August 27, 2013 ballot for voters in the village of Tequesta and the regions proposed for annexation in Palm Beach County, Florida. It was defeated by voters both in the village and in the areas proposed for annexation.

If approved, this measure would have authorized the village of Tequesta to annex the Riverside Pines, Riverside on the Loxahatchee, River Pines, and the Adjacent Unplatted Area into its boundaries.[1]

Text of measure

Question on the ballot:

Shall the Village of Tequesta annex the real property informally known as Riverside Pines, Riverside on the Loxahatchee, River Pines, and the Adjacent Unplatted Area, as that property is fully described in Ordinance No. 16-13 of the Village of Tequesta, Florida, effective upon the approval by a majority vote of the registered electors of the area proposed to be annexed?

YES - For annexation into the Village of Tequesta of the real property fully described in Ordinance No. 16-13 of the Village of Tequesta.

NO - Against annexation into the Village of Tequesta of the real property fully described in Ordinance No. 16-13 of the Village of Tequesta.[1][2]
