The State Board of Elections is governed by a three person board[3].

Campaign finance reporting

The Virginia State Board of Elections is responsible for administering the Campaign Finance Disclosure Act. The Board is responsible for making sure reports are complete and filed before all deadlines. All reports are kept on file for at least one year or the next general election[4].
