Virginia School for the Deaf, Blind and Multi-disabled at Hampton, Virginia

On May 21, 2008, the Virginia Board of Education approved Resolution Number 2008-28, which terminated all state-operated programs at the School for the Deaf, the Blind, and the Multi-Disabled in the City of Hampton, as of July 1, 2008.[1] Per SB 676 and HB 350, the school was consolidated with the Virginia School for the Deaf and Blind in Staunton, VA.[2][3]
