Vivian Davis Figures is a Democratic member of the Alabama State Senate, representing District 33 Mobile County. She was first elected on January 28, 1997 to serve the remaining term of her late husband, Senator Michael A. Figures, who was the President Pro Tempore of the Senate. She was re-elected without opposition in 1998 and 2002. She ran for United States Senate in 2008 and had previously served on the Mobile City Council.

Figures has served as Minority Leader since 2013.

Figures received a Bachelor's degree from the University of New Haven in Connecticut.

Figures won re-election to the 33rd District seat in 2010. She defeated Herman Thomas in the primary, receiving 6,572 votes to Thomas' 3,441. She then defeated Brad Moser in the November 2 general election.[5][6]
