A new system in Indiana, called SRVS or Statewide Voter Registration System is currently in use to weed out possible fraudulent voter registrations. This system primarily compares registration cards with the BMV, the Department of corrections, and the Department of health in order to prevent duplicate voters, deceased voters, and prisoners from being in the system. The system was launched in December 2005. [1]
