Jump to: navigation, search

A voting booth or polling booth is a room in a polling location where voters are able to cast their vote in private to protect the Secret ballot|secrecy of the ballot. Usually access to the voting booth is restricted to a single person, with exceptions for voters requiring assistance.

Commonly voting machines use either a voting booth or some other form of privacy cover to obscure the voting screen from the view of others.
