W.F. (Frank) McDaniel is a Democratic member of the Alabama House of Representatives, representing the 26th district, DeKalb and Marshall counties. He was first elected in 1990.

McDaniel served as President of McDaniel Tom's Sales from 1973-2000. He has also worked as a salesman/sales manager with the Burroughs Corporation, and served in the United States Air Force, Alabama Air National Guard, and United States Air Force Reserve.

McDaniel is a co-founder of the Marshall County Community Corrections Program, and member of the Alabama Commerce Commission, Alabama Regional Councils' Revolving Loan Policy Committee, Business License Study Commission, First Baptist Church in Albertville, and Marshall County Attention Home Board.[1]

McDaniel did not provide answers to the Alabama State Legislative Election 2006 National Political Awareness Test. The test provides voters with how a candidate would vote on the issues if elected.[2]
