A Waitsburg City Flood Control Bond Measure was on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the city of Waitsburg which is in Walla Walla County.

The City Council of the City of Waitsburg approved Resolution No. 2011-586 concerning a proposition to finance capital improvements related to flood protection from Coppei Creek. This proposition would authorize the city to pay the costs of a Flood Control Project along Coppei Creek including the installation of flood walls, levee and other flood protection activites; to issue not to exceed $2,000,000 of General Obligation Bonds maturing within a maximum term of 20 years to pay for such flood control and capital improvements; and levy annual excess property tax levies to pay and retire such bonds.
