Walter Michel (b. December 30, 1960) is a former Republican member of the Mississippi State Senate, representing the 25th Senatorial District.

Michel served in the Mississippi State House of Representatives in 1992. He then joined the Mississippi State Senate in 2000 and served until 2012.
