Warden School District 146, Reppointment of Director Districts (November 2009)
The measure was approved.
The proposition enabled the school district to re-district its school director districts. There were four districts and one at-large and the re-districting will make it so that there are three districts and two at-large positions. This will be done in order to better facilitate citizen participation as board members.
The ballot read:
"REAPPORTIONMENT OF DIRECTOR DISTRICTS TO THREE DIRECTOR DISTRICTS AND TWO POSITIONS AT LARGE Shall Warden Consolidated School District No. 146-161-J, Grant County, Washington, be authorized to re-district its school director districts from four districts and one at-large to three districts and two at-large positions to better facilitate citizen participation as board members?
All as provided in Resolution No. 09-08-09. Should this proposition be approved?
