After graduating from West Point with a B.S. in National Security and Public Affairs, Daniel was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Army Field Artillery. He later transitioned to reserve status and earned his J.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He began practicing in his family's firm in 2000.
Daniel and his wife, Lydia, have three daughters.[1]
