Washington 1991 ballot measures

Eight statewide ballot measures were on the 1991 ballot in the State of Washington:
- There were two Initiatives to the People, one to impose term limits and one to cap property taxes. Both failed.
- There were two Initiatives to the Legislature, one for abortion rights and one allowing physician-assisted suicide. The abortion measure passed, the suicide measure failed.
- A legislatively-referred state statute to raise taxes to pay for a statewide 911 telephone emergency system; this was approved.
- There were three proposed amendments to the Washington Constitution, all of which failed.
