Five statewide ballot measures were on the November 5, 2002 ballot in the State of Washington.

Twenty-three (23) "initiatives to the people" were filed in 2002. Eighteen failed to submit signatures, and two were withdrawn by sponsor.

Twenty-two (22) "initiatives to the legislature" were filed in 2002. Six were withdrawn by the sponsor, two were inactive, and three were filed too late to receive a ballot title.

Four "referendum measures" were filed in 2002. One failed to submit signatures, two were withdrawn, and one made it to the ballot.

One "referendum bill" was filed in 2002. It made the ballot and failed.
