Amendments

The Washington County Home Rule Charters Amendment, also known as Senate Joint Resolution 8203, was on the November 5, 1991 ballot in Washington as a legislatively-referred constitutional amendment, where it was defeated. The measure would have allowed for an alternative method of drafting county home rule charters. The measure would have added a section to Article XI of the Washington State Constitution.[1]
